Her educational pursuits didn't stop there. In May 2010, Sarah earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee. During her time at Vanderbilt, she was an Associate Editor for the university's Environmental Journal. She gained practical experience in the International Law Practice Clinic, which proved fundamental in her future legal career.
Sarah's Career
Upon completing her education, Sarah started her professional journey at American Express in 2011, focusing on corporate account business development. Her performance here quickly made her both a top-ranked rookie and a top-ranked tenured business development manager.
In 2013, she shifted back to the legal field, initially working with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity's Office of the General Counsel. This role primarily involved community planning and strategic business development, enhancing her familiarity with government operations and regulations—a foundation she would build upon in her subsequent legal roles.
In 2014, Sarah joined Hopping Green & Sams, P.A., where she eventually became a shareholder. She worked extensively in the Special District practice group, representing a range of clients, including real estate developers and various special districts. She focused on community development, infrastructure projects, and public financing transactions across Florida.
Transition to Bryant Miller Olive P.A.
By January 2022, Sarah had taken her considerable expertise to Bryant Miller Olive P.A., where she continued to advocate for local government clients in the realm of public finance law. She worked closely with industry leaders and various professionals to ensure the successful financing of public projects.
